About the Role

At EMF Media, the Creative Strategist sits at the intersection of creative and performance — building and briefing UGC creator pipelines, producing high-converting ads across Meta, Tiktok, and Snapchat, and using data to continuously improve output. You'll work closely with Performance and Paid Media teams to ensure every asset drives measurable results for our e-commerce and DTC brand partners.

This role is not just about “making creatives.” It’s about understanding buying psychology, identifying scalable angles, and building creative systems that drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Content Production

  • Lead the creation of high-converting ads (video, statics and motion design) for social media from concept to final asset, developing detailed briefs aligned with brand storytelling and paid media goals.
  • Build performance-driven creative strategies rooted in personas, motivators, awareness stages, not just formats or trends.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and e-commerce best practices to keep creative output competitive.
  • Strategize with Media Buyers on seasonal campaigns and consult with Video Editors and Content Producers on production best practices.
  • Develop scalable testing roadmaps across hooks, angles, personas, offers, structures, and visual approaches.
  • Translate performance insights into actionable creative iterations and clear next steps for production teams.
  • Own the full creative lifecycle: concept ideation → briefing → production feedback → iteration → scaling analysis.

UGC Sourcing & Creator Management

  • Build and manage a diversified pool of UGC creators across verticals, handling outreach, negotiation, onboarding, and long-term relationship management.
  • Activate large-scale UGC campaigns, maintaining structured databases to track creator performance, pricing, and availability.
  • Provide creators with strategic feedback to improve their content delivery (storytelling, pacing, retention, and conversion potential).
  • Manage the end-to-end UGC pipeline: sourcing, briefing, content validation, revisions, approvals, and delivery coordination.

Performance Tracking & Iteration

  • Read and interpret Ads Manager data to inform creative decisions, track key metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, Hook & Hold rate…), and deliver monthly performance reports.
  • Partner with Performance Managers to iterate on top-performing creatives and scale winning assets.
  • Build actionable learnings from top performers and low performers to improve future concepts and testing strategies.

Workflow & Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Develop standardized processes and implement automation tools to streamline briefing, onboarding, and reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Performance, Paid Media, and Creative teams, and work to continuously improve quality and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain organized creative testing systems, performance documentation, and iteration tracking across clients and campaigns.

Ideal Candidate Profile

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in creative strategy, UGC, or performance marketing within e-commerce or DTC.
  • Proven experience sourcing, briefing, and managing UGC creators or influencers with measurable results.
  • Strong grasp of what makes paid social ads convert, with the ability to identify winning creatives and apply those learnings.
  • Hands-on Ads Manager experience and comfort reading campaign data for creative planning.
  • Experience working in fast-paced testing environments with high creative volume and rapid iteration cycles.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered creative production tools and performance tracking platforms such as Motion is a strong plus.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.
  • Highly autonomous, organized, and a clear communicator.
  • Fluent in English; professional proficiency in French.
